UP LONG PROM HAIRSTYLE
STEP 1: CLEANSE HAIR
Cleanse hair using a shampoo and conditioner to prepare hair for styling.
Try Frederic Fekkai Full Volume Shampoo
STEP 2: MOUSSE
Towel-dry hair ensuring that the roots of your hair do not retain too much moisture. Next, apply an egg-size amount of mousse to towel-dried hair and comb through hair. Try PHYTO PRO Intense Volume Mousse with Myrrh Extract
STEP 3: HEAT DRY HAIR
Blow dry hair using a round brush, to add volume, until hair is 90% dry.
STEP 4: TEASE ROOTS
Next, use a comb to tease the roots of your hair at the crown by back-brushing to get big, full-bodied hair. Then, section off a part of hair in front and roll backward onto a roller and apply heat and allow to set for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 5: STYLE HAIR
Pull back remaining portion of hair into a ponytail and secure with an elastic. Remove a small section of hair and wrap around the band to cover the elastic with a pin. Now, remove the hair roller to give the front of your hair the extra boost and spritz with a light-hold hairspray.
STEP 6: POMADE FINISH
Use a water based pomade like our favorite, Frederic Fekkai Pomade Cristal, by rubbing a quarter amount of pomade between your palms and distribute by piecing it throughout the ponytail to finish your prom hairstyle.
