Paris Side Swept HairstyleParis’ slightly side swept hairstyle is simply adorable. Get this long prom hairstyle in a few easy steps and your ready to head out.

STEP 1: HAIR EXTENSIONS

[For those that already have long hair, go to step 2] This style doesn’t require the extra volume for the 3/4 head extension so try using just 1-2 wefts of hair, depending on how long your hair is. We like the 18″ Human Hair by POP Hair Extensions because it comes in 15 different colors and it’s quick and easy to clip-in and style[This line was created by Ken Paves, the same guy that does celeb hair with big name clientèle such as Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria Parker]. The bonus is you can curl the extensions if you get tired of wearing them straight because they’re high quality human hair extensions.

STEP 2: STRAIGHTEN HAIR

Back to our prom hairdo, straighten hair by pre-heating a straightening iron and working through hair in 1-2″ sections. Then part the hair slightly to one side while combing the back portion upward to maintain some volume in back portion of hair. (more…)

Christina Celebrity Hair

Christina’s gorgeous retro updo is simple, yet chic!

Celebrity hairstyles don’t have to be complicated to be sophisticated. You can get this look in 6 easy steps!

STEP 1: CLEANSE HAIR

As always, start by cleansing the hair by washing with a shampoo and then following with a moisturizing shampoo to retain that healthy, shiny appearance.

STEP 2: DRY HAIR

For those with straight hair, simply dry hair using a brush, ensuring that hair is smooth.

For the ladies with curly hair, straighten hair with a large round brush while drying and then straighten using a flattening iron by separating into small 1 to 2 inch sections.

Then, rub a little bit of hair smoothing product (try Frederic Fekkai Smooth Hair, Hydrating Hair Cream) between your palms and apply to dried hair.

STEP 3: SECURE HAIR

Part hair on side, leaving the hair in the crown section separate to be styled in the next step. Then, starting from the back end of the crown, comb back toward the nape of your hair and pin in place. Next, comb back both sides of the hair and secure hair with an elastic (NOTE: the elastic will be covered with your hair). (more…)
