STEP 1: CLEANSE HAIR

STEP 2: SPRAY VOLUMIZER

Spray volumizer, such as Frederic Fekkai Instant Volume Root Lifting Spray, to root of hair while hair is still damp directly to the roots of your hair out to mid-shaft.

STEP 3: DRY HAIR

For straight hair, blow dry hair until moisture is about 80% dry. Now, lift small, 2-inch sections of hair at the roots and direct the hair dryer to the scalp to create the lift at the crown. NOTE: Avoid drying hair upside down as it tends to add width to your hair, not height. Then use a round brush such as the iTech Magnetic Boar & Nylon Hair Brush, 2-3/8 to finish the ends of hair.

For curly hair, dry hair completely with a large round brush. Try a larger barrel brush like the iTech Magnetic Boar & Nylon Hair Brush, 3-1/4 to create shape. Then, use a flat iron (you can always keep your locks looking fresh by using a ceramic flat iron) such as our favorite, the HairArt Ionic Tourmailne Ceramic Iron 1 3/8 , Model H3000 Deluxe, Pink

STEP 4: TEASE HAIR

Next, use a comb to tease the roots of your hair at the crown by back-brushing to get big, full-bodied hair.

STEP 5: HAIRSPRAY HAIR
